 I chose to do the filling pattern as a brain because the brain controls all bodily functions. I thought this pattern would better send the message/symbol across to the people viewing these symbols.

Re Cover

Re-Cover Paragraph

The book I've chosen to re-cover is The Green Felt Jungle. I feel that the cover doesn't really do much for the book it makes it look un-appealing. I will make it really reveal the darkness of this book and what it resembles, Las Vegas and all the flaws it has. It looks very outdated and if I saw it in a shelf full of books I wouldn't pick it. I want to channge the font to something more ominous  and new looking and make the book over all still capture what the story is about with a modern take on the design.

First semester reflection

           In the first semester i learned a lot about photoshop in a little amount of time.  I didn't expect to enjoy this class as much as I did. I just chose it as an elective coming into a new school for the first time. My quality of work I thought was pretty good for just learning how to use the photoshop application. I always fulfilled the requirements of the assignment and most days I completed my work on time. Somedays I couldn't think of an idea and  I would need another day to work on it. I Used the correct sizing and resolutions for my digital art and if none were provided in the guidelines I would choose one best fitted to the project i was creating. I definitely payed attention tot the subject, though i do not think  took it further than what was assigned. I really liked my concepts and quality of them because they were my own. 
          The effort I put into my projects was the amount I needed to create a nice and creative project. sometimes I would create multiple concepts, but never submit them because they just didn't seem right. Sometimes I would look for an easy solution if I couldn't wrap my mind around the concept and just took to much time thinking about it. I do not give up on a concept though. I like to take risks with my projects some workout and some don't. With my classmates I like to show them a positive attitude, although I like to joke around with some people. I always end up having a happy attitude towards my digital art and the effort i put into it.
          I feel my participation in class was good but surely can be improved. I'm always on time to class and ready to do something. most of the time I work independently. I have trouble staying on task, I'm not the person who can sit and do something for a long period of time without getting distracted or simply just bored. I also tend to go on my phone a lot, but this does not prevent me from finishing my work but i would like to spend more time off of it. 
          For this semester I would like to improve the effort I put into my assignments and make them really nice and beautiful works of art. I do not just want to treat it as an assignment for a grade but something I truly care bout. I would like to Stay off my phone more in class and Take advantage of the time I am given. I am looking forward to seeing what I can create this semester.
