Moby

This video puts everything into perspective for me. I realized that technology is blinding us from seeing whats really happening in this world. It made me feel like a piece of garbage and want to get my crap together. I feel like it was kinda exaggerated but the message was still strong. I want to try and spend more time off my phone because of this video.

http://www.zefrank.com/string_spinv2/

This website was called string spin. You can draw a simple line and make a really cool abstract image out of it. It was fairly easy to use. You could choose different colors to make your image out of. How it works is you draw aline and the website virtually spins it. you can chance the axis its spins on and make it look even cooler. I liked this website i just feel like the creativity was limited.

This website was my favorite out of all of the ones i tried. it was very easy to use and you could create beautiful images from just a doodle. How it worked was you draw and image and then the website begins to make it look like a sketch by the use of connected lines and scribbling over the image you created, while still keeping it looking like your own. You could choose, line colors, line speeds, and line thickness, etc. This was such a cool website and i loved experimenting with it.

This website was really fun to use. it offered a variety of different brushes for you to use to make cool drawings and images. This too  had a very easy way of finding out how to use it. It was very experimental, like a trial and error process to see what would look good for your image. You could also layer your brushes to create depth, like you can see in the sun. All in all i liked this website, it had a lot of room for creativity.

This website allowed you to create different flowers by selecting different petals and placing them symmetrically in a circle. I really liked this website because it was easy to navigate through. I also liked how you could create really beautiful flowers with just a few clicks of your mouse. This websites offers many easy ways to create a good image that looks like it took a lot of time. Overall i really enjoyed this website and its features.

Social Media

The Power of Internet Images

Based solely on the photographs she chose to post, what is the image that Jenny is trying to project?...Adventurous? Curious? Brave?

Wanderlust, free spirited, romantic, adventurous,bravery

Do you think she was successful?

yes, because the photos make me want to explore and be like jenny. She looks like she is having so many experience in her life that everyone should be able to do.

Do you think that Jenny is someone who would be a good role model? A good mother? A good wife? A good friend?

Yes, i feel she will encourage others, along with her children to chase their dreams. She seems like the person that would want people t experience every aspect of life.

"tweetthis!" questions

A) What trend was the article highlighting?

That more and more colleges are beginning to check their applicants social media to see if they would contribute positively to their college.

B) Do you think this trend will continue?   Why?

Yes, because it gives colleges, or any other company a good background and understanding of exactly who they are hiring.

C) Explain how the behavior outlined in the article could affect a student’s future education and employment opportunities.

The students tweets directed at other people caused her admission to be declined. This would put a bump in the road because she had a set plan for college and her education. If she were to apply for a job the employers could look at her social media and gather that she doesn't get along with people very well.
